DAY 1 – Arrival in Leh | Acclimatization Day (Altitude 3,500m)

Arrive at Leh Airport and check in to your hotel. Complete rest is very important on Day 1 to allow your body to adjust to the high altitude of 3,500 metres. In the evening, if health permits, take a short walk to Shanti Stupa for beautiful panoramic views of Leh city, or visit the Hall of Fame War Museum. Overnight stay in Leh.

Tip: Drink plenty of water, avoid alcohol, and do not exert yourself on Day 1.

DAY 2 – Sham Valley Exploration

Visit the beautiful Sham Valley — one of the most popular day trips from Leh. Today you will explore:

– Alchi Monastery – one of the oldest monasteries in Ladakh (800+ years old)
– Magnetic Hill – the famous gravity-defying hill on the Leh-Kargil highway
– Sangam Point – the stunning confluence of Indus and Zanskar rivers

DAY 3 – Leh to Nubra Valley via Khardung La Pass (18,380 ft)

The most exciting day of your Ladakh tour! Drive over the legendary Khardung La Pass at 18,380 feet — one of the highest motorable roads in the world. Stop at the top for photos and enjoy the breathtaking views of snow-covered peaks.

Descend into the lush and beautiful Nubra Valley. Visit:

DAY 4 – Nubra Valley to Pangong Lake via Shayok River

Drive along the scenic Shayok River valley to reach the world-famous Pangong Lake (Pangong Tso) sitting at 14,000 feet altitude. Watch the magical lake change colours throughout the day — from deep blue to turquoise to bright green. This is the same lake made famous by the Bollywood film 3 Idiots!

Enjoy the sunset by the lake. Overnight stay in tented camps right next to Pangong Lake — a truly unforgettable experience under a sky full of stars.

DAY 5 – Pangong Lake to Leh via Chang La Pass (17,586 ft)

Wake up early to watch the magical sunrise over Pangong Lake. After breakfast, drive back to Leh via Chang La Pass at 17,586 feet — one of the highest motorable roads in the world.

En route visit:
– Chang La Baba Temple – a small but famous shrine at the pass
– Hemis Monastery – the largest and wealthiest monastery in Ladakh

Arrive in Leh by evening. Explore the Leh Market for local shopping — Pashmina shawls, Tibetan jewellery, and dry fruits.

DAY 6 – Monastery Circuit | Leh Cultural Tour

A full day exploring Ladakh’s incredible culture and heritage. Visit:
