Chanshal Pass also known as Chanshal Valley has the good scenic beauty of the Himalayas. Chanshal is a mountain range that cuts the Dodra Kawar Valley from the Rohru area. Dodra and Kwar are two beautiful villages nestled in a remote part of the Himalayas. Both the villages of Dodra and Kwar are separated by River Rupin which is a tributary of River Yamuna. The Chanshal Valley affords views of hills-covered Himalayan ranges. Chanshal Pass is 180 km away from Shimla, accessible from April to November. First, you have to reach Rohru Village and then the next day you can drive to Chanshal Pass. Rohru is a Village located in the Shimla district and is about 120 km away from Shimla. It is situated at the banks of the Pabbar River and is famous for its hand-carved wooden temples of their Devtas.

Bike tours are also very famous these days at Chanshal so if you planning a bike tour then it’s also a good option for bike lovers.
